Montreal, Quebec (November 14, 2019)  Emovi, Inc., announced today the signing of a multi-year agreement with Kansas City Chiefs offensive guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, MDCM, to support the knowledge transfer to health care professionals and patients regarding genealogy with the KneeKG system, a new knee evaluation modality.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is one of the best offensive line players in the National Football League (NFL) and a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in Canada. He is the only active player in the NFL who is also a doctor.

In 2017, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif injured his left knee while playing football for the Kansas City Chiefs. Magnetic resonance (MRI) confirmed a sprain in the internal collateral ligament. He was back in the field after four weeks. In 2018, he fractured the fibula with ankle ligament damage and returned to play after 16 weeks. Although his rehabilitation process included physiotherapy sessions, various orthotics and a year of mechanical procedures, he continued to experience knee pain for almost two years. In 2019, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif heard about genealogy with KneeKG.
